Esperamos con optimismo lo que el año entrante traerá en cuestiones tecnológicas. Será interesante probar la cámara Polaroid con sistema operativo Android y lente intercambiable, la pantalla flexible de Samsung o la televisión de ultra alta definición. También veremos lo que traen el Xbox 720 y Office 2013.

Uno de los adelantos tecnológicos que seguramente nos facilitará bastante las cosas es el sensor de cámara que Toshiba planea lanzar para smartphones a finales de 2013 . Este sensor incluye 500,000 pequeños lentes que pueden capturar imágenes ligeramente diferentes con cada distribución de los lentes. Esas imágenes se combinan para hacer una foto completa usando el software de Toshiba. El sensor podrá medir la distancia entre los objetos de la imagen y le permitirá al usuario cambiar el enfoque después de haber tomado la foto.

We are optimistic about what to expect from 2013 technology-wise. It will be interesting to try the Android-running Polaroid camera with interchangeable lens, the flexible screen by Samsung or ultra high definition TV. We’ll also check Xbox 720 and Office 2013.

A remarkable development will surely be the camera sensor Toshiba plans to launch for smartphones by the end of 2013. This sensor includes 500,000 tiny lenses that capture slightly different images with each lens arrangement. These images combine to make up a complete photograph using Toshiba’s own software. The sensor will be able to measure the distance between the objects in the image and allow the user to change the focus after the picture is taken.
