Este gadget puede resultar bastante útil: un timbre inalámbrico inteligente para tu puerta. El dispositivo, llamado DoorBot, te permite interactuar con la persona que esté a la entrada de tu casa u oficina desde un teléfono móvil o tableta. Funciona como una cámara de vigilancia conectada a tu red Wi-Fi que monitoreas remotamente desde tu dispositivo Apple o Android y decides si contestas o no el timbre. Aunque tú puedes ver a la persona tocando a tu puerta, ella sólo podrá oírte.

Incluso puedes contestar al timbre sin necesidad de estar en casa. Mientras tengas conexión Internet en tu dispositivo móvil, podrás ver quién está a la puerta y dar la impresión de que te encuentras dentro.

Por otro lado, existe la opción de instalar también Lockitron, dispositivo para abrir o cerrar el cerrojo de tu puerta de manera similar. Esta opción no nos agrada tanto debido a que literalmente está dándole a los hackers la oportunidad de entrar a nuestra casa.

There’s also the option of installing Lockitron, a gadget to remotely control your lock in a similar way. We’re not so keen on this one since it literally gives hackers the opportunity to enter our house.
