5 tips para crear correo electrónico para móviles

iPhone e-mail

E-mail marketing is an effective tool to communicate with your customers. If you add the fact that more and more people check their e-mail from a mobile device, the chances to grow your business on the web is huge. Here area 5 tips for creating effective e-mail for mobiles.

  1. Enlarge the fonts. It is recomended to use font sizes of 17 to 22 points  for mobiles, since the screen is considerably smaller than a computer’s. Otherwise your readers will need to zoom in.
  2. Write in a single column. Design your e-newsletters so that the text appears in a single column and the user will not have to go back to the top in order to continue reading.
  3. Highlight the calls to action. After reading your e-mail, you want your customer to do something specific. Use a visible button and make it large enough to be selected with a finger on a touch screen. Do the same for connecting via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and other social media. Include call to action buttons in the first 200 or 250 pixels, before the fold.
  4. Reduce the text by half. People rarely read the whole text in an e-mail. Make it easy for them by eliminating unnecessary words.
