En el mundo empresarial existen innumerables mitos y leyendas acerca de cómo debes desempeñarte, qué situaciones debes evitar,  que acciones debes tomar y en ciertas ocasiones, hasta qué palabras no debes usar. Uno de esos mitos es: “Nunca mezcles tu vida profesional con tu vida familiar, en especial con tu pareja”.

Se dice que son dos vidas completamente diferentes y que por ninguna razón debes de mezclarlas. Sobran casos donde matrimonios y familias enteras se han desintegrado por situaciones donde un conflicto laboral se convierte en un obstáculo para la dinámica familiar.

David Lui y Carley Roney

Se conocieron por primera vez siendo estudiantes en la Univeridad de Nueva York, pasaron ocho años para que se volvieran a ver, pero todo tenía un por qué. Después de su reunión, se casaron y formaron juntos la empresa The knot. Actualmente el 80% de las mujeres que están proximas a casarase, visitan su sitio web.

Entonces, ¿quién dijo que trabajar con tu pareja es un obstáculo?

Aunque se puede conjugar con éxito la vida profesional y en pareja, queremos dejar en claro que es una opción que necesita evaluarse concienzuda y honestamente ya que es una decisión de alto impacto.
