- Unlock the domain by going to your client area and go to “domains”. You will see a list of your domains, select the domain you want to transfer and click on the tool icon (settings). Select from the left menu option "Registrar Lock". Click on the button "Disable Registrar Lock". If this already unlocked, skip this step.
- Click the left menu button that says "Get EPP Code". By clicking, you will get an email in a few minutes with the transfer code needed. This option is not available for .MX domains. If you need the code for MX domains or if you did not got the EPP Code email, you can email us at support@ecolohosting.com
- With an unlocked domain and a transfer code, you can start the domain transfer process with your new domain provider. Each provider is different, so you will need to contact them for detailed instructions on how to transfer to them. Domains with less than 60 days of registration, or recent contact information update may not be available for transfer. Domains that have less than 15 days to the renewal date may not be transferable. Also domains that have expired are not able to transfer.
