To access your email account, you need to set it up on your Microsoft Outlook.
The necessary credentials and information are as follows (They should be on your welcoming email from Ecolohosting):
First you are required to know in which nameserver is your domain located, as stated before, this information should be on your welcoming email from Ecolohosting. In case you don't find such email, here we show you How to know your nameserver.
Username: email@yourdomain.com (replace email@yourdomain.com with your Ecolohosting address).
Password: ******** (the one provided to you).
Email address: email@address.com
Follow these steps:
Open Outlook and on the upper menu select the Tools option followed by E-mail Address Accounts.
The next window will appear:
Select add an account.
The server type is POP3.
Now enter the data in their fields.
The entered name will appear when sending an e-mail, as well as your e-mail address.
The username and password will allow you to access your account in the e-mail server.
The incoming and outgoing server names.
Select the More Settings button and a window will appear as shown. Go to the Advanced Options tab and check that the outgoing server is 465.
If the information is correct, click Accept.
You can click the Check the Account Settings... to check that everything is right.
Every time more accounts need identification in the STMP (outgoing) server. This means they require username and password as does the POP (incoming) server. Our e-mail provider should warn us about this. On the More Settings... button it is usual for the SMTP server to use the same username and password as the POP, so we'll check that option.
Finish the process and hit F5.
